Frizzing the Hair

Frizzing the hair is a great way to help sculpt and shape the hair in the Elizabethan era women use to have frizzy  hair texture in there hairstyle.

In class I had learnt two ways to make free hair frizzy which would add volume and texture to the hair.

The frist technique I used was hair crimpers I first sectioned the hair taking a neat section starting from the bottom working my way to the top. Wait till the crimp style has cooled down and  once it has then brush out the crimped hair. When the hair has been brushed out you will then get this beautiful  volume hair that is easy to sculpt great to cover up hair paddings. Crimping is a great technique for creating an Elizabethan hairstyle as it gives you a similar texture they used in thier hair at that time.

The second technique I used was wrapping the hair on a loose pin I then got a straightners and then pressed it on the curls I created on the pin and left it to cool down once I took them out I got this beautiful zig zag curl and once I brushed it out I got this amazing volume and frizz to the hair. This is a really great  technique to use to create really frizzy hair  the more you brush it the bigger and frizzy it gets this is also another great way to sculpt and create an amazing hairstyle to cover up paddings and shape and gives a great texture even if you don't brush it out.
