Plaits and buns

In class we learnt how to do different styles of plait and buns

It was my first time attempting how to do a French plait I was pretty happy with the results of my French plait.

Second I did a fishtail plait which was pretty easy to do you just section the hair in to two sections and take the hair from the sides taking it over to the next section.

The third thing I made was a bun without a padding I first section the hair off then I tied it in to a pony tail made four different sections back combed each section made it into a barrel curl pinned it in from both sides once I completed the four I then joined each section up together and walaa I ended up with a perfect bun shape without a padding.

Theses techniques are really good and will be helpful towards my Elizabethan look as in the Elizabethan era they wore a lot of plait in the hair and included buns in there style.
